For the procurement department of SABIC Bergen op Zoom, we are looking for an experienced Operational Buyer. What we offer €3500,- br p/m 5,12% ADV surcharge 13th month Long term Fulltime SABIC Bergen op Zoom Who you are In this role you will ensure the availability of goods and services and aim to achieve this at the lowest possible cost. Higher professional education or senior secondary vocational education with an enhanced curriculum Operational purchasing experience and preferably procurement specific education Proven negotiation and analytical skills Dutch and English language skills, both verbally and in writing Capable in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Administrative affinity, SAP knowledge is a plus Team player What will you do The Operational Buyer serves as a procurement business partner. You will capture requirements, identify opportunities in co-operation with the internal customers and Procurement colleagues delivering value, efficiently and fully compliant with SABIC Procurement Policy. Procure local buys on time Achieve this result at the lowest possible cost by challenging in-company demands, policies and practices and reaching optimal and commercial conditions Ensure the availability of goods and services as required. In time, in place and according to specifications and accompanied by necessary certificates, so that manufacturing processes is executed as planned. Support and coordinate material quality inspection Ensure on time payment suppliers, continuously improve the Purchase to Pay process and deliver compliant procurement dossiers Ensure compliance to regional legislation, global standards, requirements, policies and procedures Support on complaint handling and supplier evaluation Where will you work The Operational Buyer Procurement SABIC Benelux Sites, is located in Bergen op Zoom.
