ppSABIC’s Specialties organization in Bergen op Zoom is looking for an Inspection Compliance Engineer for the Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and Noryl plant. /ppThe IC engineer will have to set up an IVG for SHPP and will be responsible for the legally required inspections for pressure equipment, pressure relief devices and storage tanks (PGS29). /ph3How You Can Be the Impact /h3ulliBe responsible for periodic reassessments of pressure equipment /liliBe responsible for periodic reassessments of Storage Tanks (PGS 29) /liliBe responsible for inspection of repairs / changes executed on pressure equipment, storage tanks and hoses /liliBe responsible for reporting and discussing the Inspection results of the periodic reassessments and repair / change activities with the different stake holders /liliBe responsible for the IC database and is the focal point to the notified bodies /liliTroubleshoot and debottleneck of unit operations and related equipment including identifying the problem source. Evaluate alternatives and suggest solutions and improvements. /liliExecute on short-term operational safety actions initiated from HAZOP`s, safety events and incidents. /liliMaintain contact with service departments to optimize plant performance. /liliAssist in commissioning of new equipment and other unit/control modifications. /liliParticipate as team member in Incident Investigations, HAZOP and PSSR. /liliBe responsible for the inspection part of turn-around scope and participate in the unit turn-around team to develop the total scope. /li /ulh3What Matters to SABIC /h3ulliBSc / MSc level in either mechanical engineering or chemical engineering. /liliCertified Inspector IWT or IKT level 3 according to Dutch Law and Legislation. /liliMinimum of 10+ years working experience in chemical or mechanical engineering. /liliFluent in English and Dutch. /liliBroad knowledge of regulations in the field of integrity and specifically regarding Pressure Equipment Dutch and European law and legislation. /liliA dynamic, flexible, structured and enthusiastic personality /liliYou have the ability to listen generously and practice open advocacy.
