For our Accounting Team we are looking for a Fulltime Cost Accountant to strengthen our team.
Responsibilities
- Global process responsibility
- System responsibility (process design, master data, reporting and documentation) for SAP-CO-OM; CO-PC; CO-PA; PCA Inventory valuation
- Performs month-end close activities – variance analysis on the material ledger run, reconciliation legal and group valuation; creating and testing monthly standard costing run; monthly inventory balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including materials, labor and overhead vs budgets and provide regular analysis to management if tariffs are still sufficient enough
- Ensure proper inventory controls and verification; standard costing (production rates, BOM’s and overheads), monthly/annual counts and coordinate with the financial auditor
- Material account and inventory valuation (IFRS/HGB/Tax law); including setting up new materials and costing
- Review actual material prices
- Maintain accounting and costing views of the master data of materials.
- Collaborate with corporate finance team on financial reporting and analysis
- Participate in staff/production meetings with Operations as requested.
- Ensuring Product and customer-specific profitability analysis
- Coordinate tariff update during the annual planning process and support and prepare year-end closing calculation processes
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5-10 Years of Cost Accounting experience
- Technical proficiency in SAP system
- Proficiency with Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong communication & leadership skills
- English language both verbal and written
- German and/or Dutch language skills preferbale
